The National Constitution Day Cultural Evening Gala organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Higher People's Court and Nanchang University was successfully concluded!

On December 4, 2023, our country celebrated its tenth National Constitution Day. To enhance constitutional awareness, promote the spirit of the constitution, strengthen faith in the constitution, and advance the rule of law comprehensively, the "12.4" National Constitution Day Cultural Evening Gala was solemnly held on the evening of December 3 at the Music Hall of the Qianhu Campus of Nanchang University. The event was organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Higher People's Court and Nanchang University, and co-hosted by the Nanchang Intermediate People's Court, the Publicity Department of Nanchang University Party Committee, the Law School of Nanchang University, and the People's Court of Xinjian District in Nanchang City.

With enchanting music, the gala kicked off, instantly igniting the atmosphere in the concert hall. The audience was filled with passion and excitement. The gala consisted of three chapters: "Upholding the Rule of Law, Creating a Clear and Harmonious Society," "Inspiring the Students, Shaping the Blossom of Youth," and "Continuing the Spirit of the Past, Showcasing the Splendor of China," with two rounds of constitutional knowledge quiz interspersed among them. Through splendid and innovative performances, the gala took the audience on a journey through captivating stories, presenting a visual and auditory feast. The constitutional knowledge quiz effectively fulfilled the purpose of promoting the spirit of the constitution and popularizing constitutional knowledge.

In the first chapter, "Upholding the Rule of Law, Creating a Clear and Harmonious Society," a symphony orchestra performed "The March of the Elephants," in which traditional Chinese musical instruments showcased the grandeur and profoundness of Chinese culture. The comedy sketch "Where Does Time Go?" addressed the issue of university students procrastinating and being addicted to the internet, reminding everyone to seize the moment and not let time slip away. The People's Court of Xinjian District recited solemnly "There is a Mission Called the Constitution," emphasizing the duty of legal professionals. The fusion of various ethnic dances in "Beautiful China" conveyed the unity and love among different ethnic groups.

In the second chapter, "Inspiring the Students, Shaping the Blossom of Youth," Hu Hua'ai, the Party Secretary of the Law School, and Gong Fen, a judge at the People's Court of Xinjian District, performed the song "Beyond the Horizon." The beautiful melody and rhythm immersed the audience in the vast grasslands. The recitation and song fusion of "The Fragrance of Camphor Trees Embodies the Spirit of the Rule of Law" represented the charm of the rule of law. The jazz dance "Girl Power," which won awards in the Nanchang University Group Dance Competition, showcased the energy and vibrancy of youth. The comedy sketch "Who Else But Me" humorously portrayed the lives of undercover police officers, conveying their courage and greatness, evoking respect from the audience.

In the third chapter, "Continuing the Spirit of the Past, Showcasing the Splendor of China," a medley of songs titled "Brilliant Lights, Shining China" connected multiple songs with escalating rhythms, igniting people's patriotic enthusiasm. The band's performance of "Orchid Pavilion Preface" flowed like clouds and water, exuding elegance and grace. The Tibetan dance "Heavenly Bath" displayed beautiful dance moves with a sense of tranquility, as if touching snow-capped mountains and clear springs, showcasing the beauty of Tibetan folk customs.

The gala concluded with the choir singing "Chasing Dreams," marking the end of the evening. As we embark on our century journey, full of ups and downs, we will continue to strive and pursue without stopping. The atmosphere at the gala was lively, with dazzling lights and captivating performances, accompanied by continuous cheering and applause from the audience.

This evening gala conveyed the spirit of the national constitution and the ideology of the rule of law in an enjoyable way, enhancing the legal awareness and respect for the constitution among teachers and students.
